Unified Arts

The Seymour Middle School Unified Arts Team’s goal is to offer a variety of programs to meet the diversity of the learners in our school community.  We provide students with a place of exploration while fostering different learning styles.  Through physical activity and the humanities our expectation is that students will develop critical thinking, problem solving and self-assessment skills.  In these endeavors, it is our goal to provide an educational atmosphere that will empower life-long learning.  Communication with students and parents varies, however many use Google Classroom for class expectations and assignments while grading information is available through PowerSchool.  Teachers will contact parents through email or phone to discuss individual academic or behavioral concerns.  The SMS Unified Arts Teachers can also be individually contacted by parents through email or by phone.
