Hello Parents and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you well! As your child enters the middle school years, we understand that this can be a challenging time for them. With new academic expectations, social changes, and physical and emotional transitions, it can be overwhelming. However, I want to assure you that we are here to support your child every step of the way.

I have been blown away by the honesty, talent, curiosity, humor, and empathy that I have seen in our middle schoolers. They are at a crucial stage in their development, and we take our responsibility to provide them with social, emotional, and academic support very seriously.

At Seymour Middle School, we believe that a great middle school experience involves a well-rounded education that helps students reach their full potential academically, while also giving them the chance to connect with their school community. We will challenge our students in the classroom to always give their best efforts in their academic studies. Additionally, we offer programs where students can explore their musical and theatrical talents, represent our school in sports, and join all sorts of clubs and organizations. We want every student to find something they love at Seymour Middle School, so if your child has an idea that is currently not offered, please let us know!
